Introduction

On the basis of the events in Edgar Allan Poe 's The Tell Tale Heart this class activity is to perform a subsequent court case. The unnamed narrator, for practical reasons named Ed in this court, is tried for the murder of the unnamed old man, in this case called David. You are each to participate in the trial as either the judge, prosecutors, defense attorneys, defendant, witnesses, medical examiners or members of the jury.
